Ok, so my other idea was a little more planned and less risky, but why not look at other possibilities. I am 16, and I am still in school. Due to the economic situation I am struggling to find a job, and am looking for ways to make a bit of money; I don’t see why I shouldn’t aim high, though.
Obviously in times of recession the demand of white goods, luxuries and services falls. The needs of consumers are prioritised over the wants, so obviously any type of business that is subject to this area is most likely going to fail. My other idea was a sort of promotions/mini PR based idea to help local businesses advertise and promote their services through websites, flyers, directory searches for work etc. all of course making me money. There is obviously no way of somebody my age to get into providing necessities, which to be fair is all that people are buying at the moment, so I decided to look at non tangible products and realised that I do not need to offer a product or service to make money, however I do not know if the recession will work to my advantage.
Exchange rates are fluctuating, so buying into another currency that is stable, or as the pound falls (will it?), to change back into sterling making profit. I understand this is risky and it would only be through small amounts at this point.
I cannot use Forex as I am 16, however
- Could I be onto something here to make small profits?
- Where can I find out exchange rates, trends and predictions?
- Through what service can I convert currency?

In Japan I can change yen to $ or $ to yen at only 2 % difference from the actual exchange rate. Does anyone know of banks or currency exchange services here in USA that also do not charge usuary exchange fees? In the Atlanta airport the bank there was charging a ridiculous 14 % fee even for thousands of dollars worth of yen. I will need to do this kind of exchange on a regular basis so this is of much concern to me. Thank you for any help.

India, just like in the past , has getting into enormous foreign exchange projects with different countries of the world. Of course, it is good to a certain extent, but, it seems like India is getting into entirely dependent on forex. Is this good? Will a freedom struggle take place agian?
I live in the US and am looking for an apartment in England. I am looking on Craigslist for apartments, and I guess I don’t understand the currency exchange. I found an apartment for 345 pounds, and evidently that is 470 dollars or so.
I have always been told that England was one of the most expensive places to live, but I have found several apartments for under 0 a month? Am I reading the ads correctly?
I think my currency exchange rate is wrong. The website that I went to must have not updated.
But, It still seems very cheap to me. I guess I was thinking that Londond was just outragous.
