I trade currencies on Forex.com. Last year I was sent a 1099 form for my trades with USD vs Gold. I was not sent a 1099 form for my EUR/USD or USD/CAD trades. Are these trades taxable?
Can I have more than a Yes or No answer please, an explanation would be nice. Also, why would these trades not show up on the 1099?

Whats the feeling out there ! Is the British pound gonna gain against the US Dollar ? Do you think we will ever get back to almost 2 Dollars to the Pound ? Im holding out for a while before cashing in.

I’ve noticed the Japanese Yen has gained a lot of value recently. So I thought it would be a good investment. I wanted to trade in some US Dollars for Yen at the bank, but the banks charge huge exchange fees.

i was wondering if somethiing like this was possible.
i want to exchange WON (Korean) to DOLLARS (US) but obviously the dollar is weaker than the ‘won’ and I’ll be losing money. so… would it be possible to exchange WON first into something strong(er) like the EURO and then from there exchange it to the dollar?
Is something like this possible? Are there draw backs if any?
If euro is falling below the dollar then what about exchanging to a better currency before going to the dollar… in other words what I’m trying to say in a nutshell is, is it possible and beneficial to do this 3 way?

I have found that when the US indexes (NASDAQ, DOW, S&P 500) gain (or lose) so does the Euro as part of the EUR/USD pair. There is a positive correlation. Why does this occur? I had the thought that as risk becomes less popular and people sell their stocks they put the money into treasury bonds, possibly driving up the USD. Does anyone know for certain what drives this phenomenon? Best answer points available for good concise information. Thank you.

Can I reserve british pounds at the london heathrow airport? we are flying in from houston on the 2nd. The websites are very confusing and by the looks of it I can only reserve US dollars, in exchange for pounds. Not Pounds in exchange for US dollars

Where I am from in Haiti. A lot of peple make a living out of currency exchange between the US Dollar and Haitian Gourde where 1USD=35Hatian Gourdes.
