Why is the British Pound still weak against the Euro?
Today the British Pound Sterling rose against the US Dollar at an4 all year high at .563. But Sterling is still weak against the Euro at 1.133. Why is Sterling getting stronger against the Dollar but still remains weak against the Euro?
Also can someone explain this as simple as possible as I’m not an economic expert.

If we rate all three currencies in terms of how well their countries are doing the the US is the worst, UK comes next and Europe is comparatively well off in terms of cost of produced and exported goods.
When a lot of money has passed abroad and there is poor potential for exports causing some of it to be returned, its relative value will drop. This situation is progressive in the same way as described above for the 3 places.
as always, British politicians don’t give a flying feck about the British people, either at home and especially abroad, they would rather we sink in the mire like Ireland and Spain, rather than STRENGTHEN our own currency, SHORT SIGHTED, NON ;PATRIOTIC, AND IGNORANT, to the last (on both sides) after all, they will NEVER have to work or have a mortgage, they can always fiddle expenses AGAIN….hang them all from the lampposts
