How much spending money (in Yen) should I take to Japan?
I need to know how much spending money to take, either in NZ dollars or yen…I’m going to Oosaka, Tokyo, Toyooka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Disneyland and I’m only going to be in Japan for 10 days. I need to know how much spending money to take, either in NZ dollars or yen. And I don’t need to pay for the entrance to things like Disneyland, accomadation, meals or transport. Thanks:D

As much as you can afford.
It all depends on your budget.
Hotels will cost a minimum of 6,000 yen a night.
Food will cost a minimum of 400-500 yen a meal.
Transportation can be expensive. Will you take the Shinkansen? A bus? Shinkansen travel will cost you in the several 10,000s…..For your trip, 50,000+. If you take a bus, it’ll be considerable cheaper.
Then there are gifts….etc….Plan ahead and make a budget.
As a round number, I would say, for 10 days at least 200,000 yen. You will be traveling a lot and going to places that cost a lot of money. If possible, A VISA credit card would be more convenient. But even 200,000 can disappear quite quickly in Japan if you like shopping and partying.
Check with the Japanese embassy (tourism bureau office) or your travel agent and purchase an advance JR rail pass while you are still in NZ (it cannot be purchased in Japan). The JR rail pass will allow you to travel on all JR lines while you are in Japan and will save you big money. Do a websearch for JR rail pass for more information. I have just saved you more than $100. Star or best answer please.
About your budget, one person above has already given you good advice on costs. Have a good visit. Welcome.
