Converting American dollars to British pounds?
I’m thinking of going to Liverpool, England someday. I have no clue about the money situation. Can anyone tell me how the converting works? Please tell me alllll you know about british money. Also, just as an example, could you tell me how much 00 would be in pounds?

there is not much to know about exchanging money. You just go to a bank, o an exchange bureau and ask for the currency you want and how much you want to exchange and dependant on the rate of exchange that day and how much the commision the bureau or bank charge will influence how much money you get back.
as far as the British Pound Sterling, it’s nice and easy, 100 pence = 1 pound

and currently the exchange rate is about £1=$1.78 (which is quite low as it’s usually about £1=$2)
6000$ would be half so that makes……….£3000 pounds. I live in the UK by the way!
We have a £50 note, £20 note, £10 note and a £5 note and we have £2 coins, £1 coins, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p. There are 100 pence (p). I think it’s currently about $1.80 = £1.
A good tip to remember is that you can exchange dollars or travellers cheques/ checks at any UK Post Office POs open longer hours than banks and dont charge commission .
