Hi I live in Pakistan. None of the banks here allow bank transfer to foreign forex brokers abroad. They say that only Customer to Customer Account wire transfer is allowed and that I cannot transfer or receive money Business to Customer or Customer to Business. Is there any way that I can transfer money and open forex trading account from which I am able to withdraw as well to my bank account?

Hi my name is Vincenzo . I just started using Forex as a way of learning how to make more money in the real world. I picked up a demo account from Forex.com and learned how to use that platform. I am currently practicing on the FxPro cTrader but this broker doesn’t work with the US =[ ..So I have a few questions if you FX pros could help me =]!!

Are there any reputable brokers that would allow me to open an account with ~-0 that is in the United States and would it even be viable to start with a small amount of capital (knowing how to use the trading platform) and be able to build up to a bigger capital to open a larger account with say a different broker?

I was looking for brokers and I have no idea where to start =\ …

I have two ideas in mind. but I do not know what to do to start..

1. Start small and build
or
2. Get ,000 and then start
and
3. Question: What (United States) brokers use their own platform (licensed+reputable) that has those little buttons to buy/sell AND charts?

I want to start trading forex soon and I would also like to buy protective puts for some trades. In stock trading brokers need you to have previous experience to use options. Is the same true for forex brokers?

I am using MT4 and trading on a live account…I have 4 EA’s running and 2 of them are running on a EUR/USD H1 chart…will this cause any conflict within the EA’s or anything negative? (they are each attached on a separate chart) Thanks!!!!!!

I downloaded some demo programs to start learning how to trade forex,but I look at it and get a migraine. I know nothing about forex trading or anything like it,but i am interested in getting into it,however I want to learn through a program and get some practice before getting into live trading.

As far as I know, candlesticks show open quote and close quote during some time period. Then the open quote of a candlestick should exactly equal the close quote of the previous candlestick. But it doesn’t. What am I getting wrong here?

I am looking for some basic software for my computer that I can download for free without a demo. Just something with charts that I can look at. No forex or other international markets. I have tried MTI trader and Bloomberg, but they all are demos and require money. Please help me out!

I like to think that I am pretty well versed on investment vehicles and different markets, but the one area which I have remained woefully ignorant is that of currency (forex) trading.

So my question, how does it work?

It strikes me that forex trading is largely news based. You hear theres an earthquake in Japan? Yen is gonna fall. You hear on the news that Euro value is tumbling? Short euro, or buy in historically safe havens that have been known to rise ( a.k.a. Canadian loonie, swiss franc) and sell once it rises.

It seems like Currency Trading is almost totally based on Macro-economics.

It also strikes me that since there are not nearly as many currencies as there are stocks/bonds/derivatives etc etc, there must be a large number of market players in each currency bracket. So logically, currencies must be very liquid true?

Also, what is the risk of Currency trading, high or low? When I read the business section every day I notice that the Canadian loonie moves hardly a tenth of a cent on a regular basis (in comparison to the US dollar). So it seems like theres very little room for growth in currencies unless you leverage. On that note, whats the maximum leverage permitted for forex trading. I know in stocks its x2, and in derivatives its x10. Whats maximum leverage in currency trading?

I ask because I found out theres an international money trading club in my high school that I am tempted to look into but I am woefully ignorant on the reasons currencies rise or fall in value.

I just attended a seminar on Forex trading the other day. I’ve downloaded a demo version of AVA FX and Im battling to get the most out of it. Is there a more simpler version out there from another company that will also run on my Mac because AVA FX only runs on windows.
