I am a full-time trader and make a living trading the market. I believe that continuous interest in learning and improving ones own skills is vital to survive the market.

I am on a kind of a quest to see which methods newbies, part-time and full-time traders use to profit form the market. That will be a great may for future readers of this post to learn some successful methods that they may be able to use in the forex market

I use a very simple method taught to me by a very successful trader. Ive called it the "Daily Reversal Method". It uses the daily limit a currency can move in any given day. This is one of the simplest and most accurate method i have used so far as it takes into account true market conditions etc…

Hi guys,

I am at the start of my journey learning to trade the live financial markets – learning to trade through the NI Trading academy. At the moment I am focusing on the S&P 500 – though I am itching to start trading forex. Do you think it is too early, as my friend says it is best for me to become familiar with indices before diving into the deep end. What are your thoughts? Is trading FOREX as treacherous as people make out?

our home is 85k upside down– mtg pymt accts for 86% of total net income ( was laid off in ’09..income dramatically lower now) –no outstanding debt other than mtg.– spent the last 12 mths waiting for Bank of America to respond on modification (which…of course..is still under review) — we have about 4-5 mths of svings left —- my thought is… i’ve given BOA every opportunity to respond on modification..all doc’s have been given since June ’09 and updated doc’s (because the June doc’s elapsed the 60 days) were provided in Dec ’09 & here we are mid-Feb..with modification ‘still in u/w review’ — would i not be better off leasing to own (providing i can find a 3yr lease option) and just walk away from this home ? (our fico’s scores are in upper 700..so, we take a 150pt hit…in a few years…will be back in upper 600′s easy) — houses are for rent in ‘sub’division too(which we love)…so on one end ‘sub’ takes a hit w/ forex…however, on other end by leasing to own..it helps ‘sub’ ——- am i thinking right…or missing something?
clarify modification request…our mtg loan(former Countrywide loan) is an Int Only ARM (adj in 16 mths) at 6.25%…we purchased in the summer of ’07 (right before bubble bursting) — the mod request is due..1) because of layoff (was out 8 mths) 2) our youngest son was born (2 mths prior to being laid off) w/ life cystic fibrosis (which is a life shortening disease…and entirely new set of cost associated w/ treatment etc..) —— the loan was what I had requested…however, 1 & 2.. i did not…so, like most… our world has been flipped upside down and we are trying to make the most of it.

I am thinking of giving forex trading class but I wonder what people look for to learn from me. I have knowledge on forex and forex trading experience but not consistent trading result yet. My greatest achievement is turning my losing forex trading into 100% profit in 6 months in year 2008 demo account. Been doing online forex trading since 1999. I would like to share my success and failure to those interested in forex trading. Will they want to learn from me? My goal now is to achieve turning 00 into million in 3 months.

I recently opened an account with www.iforex.in and I have got cheated. The reason I say this is because their tool did a mistake and the Stop Loss didn’t close the deal. Hence, I lost all my money. After that there is no communication from their customer service whatsoever. I would like to know if there are any credible Forex Brokers out there, or if the entire business of online Forex Trading is a scam. Even though I am searching for brokers I am able to pull up stories of scam with regards to all the brokers. Currently I have opened accounts with www.forex.com and www. fapturbo.com but both have a lot of dissatisfied customer. I am wondering if the scam posts are by people who have lost money or are the scam reports really genuine. Please assist me with suggestions to a good Forex Broker. At the same time, please suggest some good training materials for Learning Forex Trading. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else have bad experience with Jamie McIntyre’s 21st Century Forex course. Iam currently on a payment plan paying off ,000 plus. This is a lot of money to be paying off for a course especially on my low income. I really don’t see much benefit from this course. Im on the 21st Forex autotrader and see my trading capital going down. I want to get a full refund. Im already past the 90 day refund period though, is there a way to get out of this program or complain to a governing body about this company and course. I was hoping Forex to be way to help create wealth and financial independence, but i feel it was a really bad financial mistake.

Rs.5 lakhs = 000. Well here goes my issue…..I am 22, and no collateral assets to put forth as guarantee. I quit my job two months ago for continuing my education so no salary slips and stuff. I’ve worked as a risk analyst before for just over a year. I am of course beginning to realize how funny my situation is But there must be some ideas out there which could help. I want to invest the money in currency trading (The Forex market, Spot market, Spot or whichever term you prefer). I’ve been studying currency trading since when i was 13 and this is where i specialize in. If you think its stupid of me to take a loan and invest in such a high risk business, then please stay away; you’ve only known the majority.

I’ve contemplated day trading for awhile now and I recently learned that in order to day trade, one must have 25k in their trading account, which I do not have. But, from my understanding I can trade Forex for substantially less tonstart (as well as futures?). My question is: Can I make say, 20 trades or unlimited trades a day if I’m trading Forex?

To the last answer: I’d much rather trade stocks and swing trade but I don’t have the 25k to day trade with and I’m the type who really needs to have complete control over everything and to not be able to make multiple trades in a day would really stress me out.
