for example, if there are 1000 clients of one broker? 46% buy usd, 54% sell usd, will the broker do the transaction on each individule’s clients action? or the broker just trade the difference of buy and sell generated by their clients? but they are going to charge the commission on all their clients anyway? with their money in hand , they can clear the transaction in 10 times the average trading time frame of their clients. i.e if their clients like to do trading in 5 min frame, they might clear the transaction in hour frame. and DO they really have that much money to lend? and are they monitored by any authority or commitiy? I try to proof that the more smaller clients the broker attract, the more they gonna make money on nothing. cause the statistical average of trading is close to 50%
Anybody know of this company? I heard it is a US company based in Europe? Can anybody tell me more about this website? http://www.globalventurefinancing.com why does it need login?

A leverage of 500:1 for example means that a person can open up a 0,000 position with an initial deposit of ,000.
I believe it’s crazy that a broker would lend us traders that humongous amount, I mean if we lose the trade, we only lose 1K but the broker will lose 500K! So I think a more realistic approach by the broker is to pool up people’s money until it gets to 0,000 , and then put it in the market. But then again, wouldn’t this take too long? What if there is insufficient amount to put in because not many ppl are trading?
Or are all these just illusion and that the brokers are actually running a bucket shop? Like, the broker never actually put your money directly into the market, everything is just virtual?
Anybody know why really the brokers offer such leverage?
Myronn S:
Yes, I agree that leverage when handled properly can be very beneficial to traders. But my question is what good does it to the brokers instead? Right now the most reasonable that I have in mind is that all brokers, maybe except ECNs, are running virtual money here until you take out the profits.
So, if it’s virtual, then they get more money from spreads with high leveraged accounts than those of lower leveraged accounts, without any risk of lending big money like 500K…
Any other inputs is appreciated
msc:
Thanks for your input.
Hmm I think I’m getting there but something still confuses me.
Let’s say I have an initial deposit of 00 with a 500:1 leverage account. So I opened up a trading position. Then what do the brokers do?
Do they actually put the 0,000 into the market, so I get 1/500 of the profits/losses they make?
Or do they keep my 00, and then wait until they know whether I profit or lose from the trade. If I win, then they can simply transfer money from traders who lose within that broker, and if I lose they can just simply take my money. In other words, the leverage is just an illusion, there is no 0K involved here.
You say that the broker does not lose anything and will close my position when almost of my 00 is lost. But I say the only way for the broker not to lose anything is that they never actually put in that 500K amount into the market. So the broker never actually lends me that 0K. So, the whole thing about leverage means lending you money is
just artificial, there’s never been one…

I’ve been practicing with a demo account with forex.com. I’ve been using their forex trader pro platform which i personally like better than mt4 or fxcm. I’ve been using the scalping technique which i’ve been doing pretty good as for as return profits. I am thinking about investing 0 into a mini account and try and see how it goes then go from there. I’m wanting to know if scalping with a mini account is a good idea and if so is Forex.com a good broker to use for scalping with mini accounts or scalping in general. Thanks in advance

I am Indian citizen and residing in U.S for a while. I have account with forex.com in U.S to trade currency in Over the Counter market. My question is that any profit arise from currency trading, is it tax in India or not? I don’t have social security number in U.S so I cannot file income tax in U.S . Do I have to report the income (profit) when I file income tax in India? Forex broker don’t give out any kind of form or information about tax purpose.
Thanks in advance
Which is the best Forex trading platform ?
I know most people would probably just close the account with the first broker and then open a new one with the second broker.
But, I’m not sure if I’ll like the second broker. And if I don’t like trading with them, I’ll most likely want to just go back to my first broker rather than try a third company.
If I can keep my first account open while test-driving the account with the second broker it would be a lot more convenient.
So, does anyone know if that is allowed or not?
