Forex Books Archives

Currently I am 18 years old, I have £3,000+ and going up all the time. I have practice and live experience with trading Spot-Forex and have returned as much as 507.45% within 1 month with my practice account but with my live account, I think I can handle the emotion anyway and can do as well. I have also read many books on investing in the stock market also.

If, say, I trade spot-forex and make money that way, perhaps a few thousand every so often, and invest that money into stocks I’ve researched thoroughly and that have very high growth potential that are most likely sure things to invest in and it grows from age 18 to age 30 and I repeatedly do this over and over again for the 12 years from age 18-30, also if I become an internet entrepreneur and grow them using some of the spare money I make, could I become a multimillionaire by age 30? Is this a realistic plan?

Does anyone know whether Andrew Barnett offering free book ‘The seven minute workday’ (about Forex trading) and also offering free seminars, is one of the many masquerading as a good fellow but really operating under that guise in an attempt to extract large fees for his services. My son in law and others I know have been suckered in to trading schemes paying out thousands of dollars but in the end out of pocket to a bunch of viral marketing shysters. Does anyone have any experience of this man?

I Know NOTHING at all about Forex and would like to learn starting with the VERY basics is there a good book or website I can read up. Basically all I know about Forex is that it has to do with currency trading….

I heard rumers about using wavelets, or multiresolution analysis, to trade the forex market and that it works really well. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about that and if you do, can you share information or where I can get information about (book, ebook, website etc.)

I don’t really know what wavelets are. But based on what i see on google and stuff, it seems pretty complicated. I don’t see how it can be use to trade…

Im studying Forex, and i have the practice program 5 days now, im reading and daily i make virtually almost 4000$ and im loosing more than i make.
So, my humble logic says, learn more, and learn to make only the good trades and not the bad ones.
So, I read books, online stuff etc etc, in 4 days i learn about candlesticks, MACD, Histogram, trading pairs, other technical indicators, pips, leverage, spreads, and so many other things, and I also learn that i have to practice at least a month or two! before i even think to make a trade with real money!
and i see clearly that i need to practice because i really don;t earn money, not even with fake money!
my losses are bigger from my profits!
so, the next logical step is to practice until i will make more profits than losses with the virtual money!

so, how come, that simple thing people don;t follow it and go and loose their money?
at least if vitrually after a month i still loose money, i will not trade my real money and i will have forex as a nice game!
i will be a happy person!
but if i see that i make money , i continue and see how im doing.
I believe that a medium trader should make more than 65% of winnings and a 35 of losses.
My personal goal is to 70 up to 80% success!

Hola,

I’ve been trading Forex in a demo account for over 2 months now. I’ve lost everything once in the process, made over ,000 some days, etc. But I would like to research forex trading more to get more expert opinions. I’ve read the whole beginner’s guide on www.babypips.com (good resource for people brand new to Forex!)

Anyway I was just wondering…… are there any people out there famous for trading Forex full-time and being successful at it? Are there any widely-acclaimed books or articles or schools of thought? Keep in mind I’m not referring to "systems" you have to pay for, ie. scam artists.

I would like to enter the Foreign Exchange Market but I realy know very little about it. Does anyone know where I could get some accurate information (e.g.: websites)? Are there any good books I should take a look at? What about the Forex programs advertised on the television? Are they worth looking at or are they just a waste of money?

At the moment I have around 0 dollars that I could towards investing, but I really do want to read up on it before I start does anybody have any ideas on good practise sites, or books that I should read. I would prefer a more active style of investing (day trading or forex or something)and I would like to know if there are any good canadian brokerage firms

I’m very interested in finance (etc… stocks/investing/trading/forex… all of that). I also have a blog. Now, I’ve been reading some books about stocks and wanted to post what I thought was helpful or what I took from the books that I’ve read. The summary would probably break down each book, chapter by chapter and talk about what I thought was useful.

Can I do this? Is this breaking copyright? I’ve taken notes on the books, but I’m not sure whether or not I’ll be able to provide page numbers or specific citations. If I just paraphrase and provide the chapters, books, and authors, is that OK?
Ok, maybe this might help.

I’m assuming you all are familiar with Sparknotes (and similar services)?

I want to write summaries like those but on the books that I’ve read. As well as provide commentary and analysis as they do.

How is it fine for Sparknotes to do this, but I might run into a copyright problem?
Also, my intent is not to steal credit. I merely wish to talk about what was discussed in the book in summary form (definitely not verbatim and not long in length). Beyond that, I aim to comment and critique what was said and whether I agree or disagree…whether it has worked for me. Whether I suggest the book. etc.
