I want to start forex trading for my living. I don’t have any knowledge of this market. Is there any good websites or books I can study before I start?

My dear friend took me to a Forex seminar last week and I have just attended a Forex seminar in a Toronto hotel. Two people showed some slides and say pay 00 fee for Forex training and start playing Forex from ,000 investment and will make 1 Million in 5 yeras and If you do not make any money in starting three months my fee money 00 will be returned. I know it probably sounds like a VERY economically illiterate question to ask. I always assumed that the strength of a currency was contingent on how wealthy a country was etc. So please explain to me why is the Pound more valued than the Dollar even though America is a wealthier country than the UK?

But if it is the final leg of the E wave down trend, and the Yen strength is only based on carry trade / safe haven – money. Well what happens when Europe and the rest of the world sorts itself out. For me (and of course this is a guess) but the fundamentals dont suggest that the Yen should be so strong – and the BoJ and Japanese exporters cant survive with it being so strong. But what are your thoughts on where it goes, and when – and supporting evidence would be highly appreciated.
I have done my own carry trade in GBP/Yen – and am banking on the Yen falling back to at least 160 – 180 over the next 4 – 5 years, do you think my bet is right, and why?
