compared to the UK pound, the euro was quite strong a while ago, it was almost the same, and now it has started to fall again.

I want to convert some of my money (American dollar) to the Austrailian dollar. The goal is to keep it in a savings account after it is converted, and not touch it for a few years. I just want to diversify in case the USD goes down. Now what is the easiest/best way to go about this. I looked at Forex accounts, but they dont give any mention of this strategy. They just push trading. I wouldnt mind going to a bank, but I know nothing about if they would allow me to keep a foreign currency in a savings account. Not sure what I should do. Thanks for any help.

I originally wanted to build a program to hold all my trading resources together, but I thought why not make a website that can do the same for me, and be of use to other people?? So this website will have things from everywhere, currency rooms, news linked to the currency charts like on Google finance, financial new, trading lessons, articles on investing and various trading instruments, blogs for the users, economic calendars also hopefully linked to the charts, and any more useful trading resources that may come across.

Will the Euro ever reach parity with the Pound Sterling? Also, why is the US Dollar weaker than both the Pound Sterling and the Euro when the US is supposed to be the strongest country in the world and the US Dollar has been around for longer than the Euro? What do you think?

I’m sure we’ve all seen the estimates/data that so many billion (think it may have been one trillion, actually) go through London every day, and approximately 30% of that is on the EUR/USD during those times. Where can I find the most accurate (or most likely to be) and most comprehensive figures on these (hopefully several currencies averages by hour frames would be ideal). Thanks for your help!

If i have a 00 mini account for forex trading (Leverage of 4:1). After buying 1 minilot (0) EURUSD, what % loss of the EURUSD needs to be before i loss my 0 investment? How many pips before i lose that 0?
Assume EURUSD is 1.400 when i buy the minilot.
